Quality Policy Statement

We, the employees of Perry Johnson Registrars Carbon Emissions Services, Inc. (PJRCES), are committed to meet the requirements and expectations of our clients in terms of quality of services we provide, as well as expectations of UNFCCC – CDM Executive Board, its applicable bodies for regulatory standards and other Executive Bodies of the Voluntary standards, whose accreditation we secure and maintain.

Human resource is the key asset at PJRCES. To ensure quality of our operations, we will deploy skilled and competent personnel for all validation and verification activities. To meet this crucial need, systematic efforts will be directed towards recruitment, training and competence evaluation for all personnel performing different tasks.

We are committed to accurate and transparent validation and verification of GHG emission reductions, which in turn will help to fulfill the expectations set forth in the Kyoto Protocol, while contributing to the sustainable development. To implement this policy and provide quality and speedy validation and verification services to our clients, we have developed and implemented quality management system meeting latest versions of UNFCCC Accreditation Standard and Validation/Verification Manual.

We believe that maintaining impartiality at all levels is vital in validation/verification business. To ensure this, we shall institutionalize systems and procedures, to maintain impartiality at policy, organization and operation levels.

The entire PJRCES team adheres to the spirit and the letter of the firm’s quality policy as well as the directives of the Quality Manual and its subordinate documents.

Quality Policy Statement

Safeguarding Impartiality Policy Statement

We, the employees of Perry Johnson Registrars Carbon Emissions Services, Inc. (PJRCES), are committed to carrying out the validation and verification of GHG emission reduction projects while safeguarding impartiality, avoiding conflict of interest (COI) and maintaining independence at the policy, organization and operating levels.

Existence of the above policy shall be demonstrated by:

  • Implementing mitigation steps across the group companies, while sharing infrastructure, financial and human resources.
  • Signing of agreement with PJRCES employees and contractors to abide by its policy, terms and conditions for safeguarding impartiality, COI and independence.
  • Developing, installing, maintaining and updating systems and procedures to identify and control impartiality, COI and independence issues at all levels.
  • Training all personnel engaged in V&V business on this policy and its implementation.
  • Implementing mitigation measures in the organization and operating levels across the PJRCES Central and Site Offices that include a combination of prohibitions, restrictions and declarations.
  • Monitoring and control of impartiality, COI and independence in V&V business, on an individual project basis, both at the Central and Site Offices.
  • Constituting an independent Impartiality Committee to evaluate performance of the Central and Site Offices on an annual basis, including policy makers and directors, in implementing this policy and communicate the results to the UNFCCC-Secretariat.

This policy shall be made available to all relevant stakeholders.

Disclaimer: PJRCES would like to declare that we or our PJR group companies do not indulge in the following for any CDM projects:

  1. Identifying, developing, provide consultancy and/or financing.
  2. Provide in-house training on CDM projects not yet validated and/or verified/certified.
  3. Have marketing and tie-up promotions with CDM consultants or financers.
  4. Offer or pay commissions for promotion or new business.”
